This past weekend I was driving to Cape May, NJ for 4th of July with my girlfriend. I remember holding her hand while she was sleeping and being able to feel her heartbeat.
I don’t know why but it kind of freaked me out. The next thought I had in my mind was:
We are all living organisms that can passaway at any second.
I continued to think about how precious human life is and how we all continue to take it for granted. I thought about writing about the experience I had on Medium but I didn’t think it was strong enough.
About a couple of days before this event happened I came across an Instagram post that one of my friends uploaded.
The caption and picture moved me.
“Every minute someone leaves this world behind.
We are all in the “the line” without knowing it.
We never know how many people are before us.
We can not move to the back of the line.
We can not step out of the line.
We can not avoid the line.
So while we wait in the line…
